High-Energy Interactive Elementary Assembly

GROW

Designed for K–5

Big Energy. Simple Lessons. Lifelong Growth.

A bright, movement-driven elementary assembly built around simple ideas students can practice right now. GROW combines energy, participation, humor, music, and memorable lessons to help younger students build confidence, make positive choices, take ownership, and keep trying when things get hard.

Adapted to the grade level, the size of the room, and the goals of your school.

Students leave with four simple behaviors they can use in the classroom, at home, with friends, and when facing something difficult.

The Four Letters

Four things students can practice right now

Children do not have to have their entire future figured out. GROW gives them four ideas simple enough to remember and strong enough to use.

G

Go Try

Build confidence by taking action, even before you know you will succeed.

Students practice saying yes to the thing they have not done before, and learn that trying is the part that comes before getting good at anything.

R

Respect Yourself & Others

Understand how your words, choices, and actions affect the people around you.

Respect gets named in both directions: the way students talk to themselves, and the way they treat the classmates and adults in the room.

O

Own It

Take responsibility for choices, mistakes, and what happens next.

Owning it is not about punishment. It is about the moment right after something goes wrong, when a student decides what happens next.

W

Work Hard

Keep going when something is difficult, uncomfortable, or takes more than one try.

Effort gets reframed as the way ability is built, not a sign that something is hard for you. Practice, patience, and showing up again.

Built for This Age Group

Not the adult keynote, shortened for kids

GROW is its own experience, designed from the ground up for elementary-age students. Tony uses his energy, his story, and his ability to connect with students to turn the assembly into something students participate in rather than simply sit through.

It is a fully interactive assembly, not a classroom lecture. Depending on the age group, the program can include movement, call-and-response moments, student participation, storytelling, challenges, humor, and memorable audience interactions.

Storytelling

Tony's own story, told at a level students can follow and hold onto.

Audience Participation

Students are in the experience, not watching one happen in front of them.

Movement & Energy

The room moves. Energy is used on purpose, not just to fill time.

Humor

Laughter keeps attention high and makes the lesson easier to remember.

Simple Life Lessons

Four ideas a kindergartner can say and a fifth grader can respect.

Confidence & Resilience

Practice in trying, recovering from mistakes, and going again.

Adaptable by Grade Level

One experience. Two age-appropriate delivery styles.

The message stays consistent. The language, pacing, participation, stories, and challenges grow with the students.

K-2Early ElementaryExplore + Participate

Big energy. Simple language. Maximum participation.

Use movement, music, call-and-response, humor, repetition, simple stories, and very clear lessons students can immediately understand.

3-5Upper ElementaryChallenge + Grow

More challenge. More ownership. The same energy.

Keep the assembly highly interactive and fun, but use more mature stories, questions, challenges, and language.

GROW is one K–5 interactive assembly, not two separate programs. Tony adapts the delivery to the developmental level of the students in the room, which is why the experience never plays the same way twice.

What Students Take With Them

What students leave with

An assembly is worth the time when students walk out carrying something. These are the ideas GROW is built to leave in the room, phrased the way students hear them.

For principals and counselors

GROW is built to reinforce the language your staff already use around effort, respect, and responsibility, so the message connects to what happens in the building after the students return to class.

01Trying matters more than being perfect.
02Mistakes can become lessons.
03Their choices help shape where they go next.
04Respect applies both to themselves and other people.
05Hard work builds confidence and ability.
06Their circumstances do not have to determine their future.
07Growth happens one decision and one action at a time.

Across a District

Two experiences, every grade level

Districts and schools often bring Tony in for more than one audience. GROW serves the elementary buildings, while the No Losses, Only Lessons keynote serves secondary students, colleges, organizations, athletics, leadership groups, and adults. A single visit can cover both.

Big Energy. Simple Lessons. Lifelong Growth.

Give your K–5 students an experience they participate in, and four ideas they keep using long after the gym empties out.
